Inventory Control Lead

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and analytical Inventory Control Lead to oversee stock integrity at our primary distribution hub in Saint-Laurent. In this role, you will lead daily cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, manage stock slotting, and ensure strict compliance with quality assurance standards within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Key Responsibilities - Plan, execute, and reconcile daily cycle counts and scheduled full physical inventory audits. - Investigate stock variances, identify root causes for discrepancies, and implement corrective measures. - Optimize warehouse slotting strategies to maximize picking efficiency and space utilization. - Monitor incoming and outgoing stock movements, ensuring accurate SKU tracking and serial number logging. - Collaborate with floor supervisors to enforce inventory handling guidelines and CNESST safety standards. - Generate weekly inventory accuracy reports for logistics managers and client accounts. Qualifications & Requirements - High School Diploma required; Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain/Logistics is a strong asset. - 2+ years of dedicated inventory control or stock auditing experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. - Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables). - Certified or willing to certify on powered industrial trucks (reach truck, order picker). - Strong analytical skills, acute attention to detail, and sound problem-solving abilities. - Professional working proficiency in English or French (bilingualism preferred).
